What is the best way to Wax a car/truck?
I really hate this boring job but i am cheap and i do have a electric buffer...so what is the lazy mans way to detail the car/truck..its don't have to be show room shine...just good enough for a FORD..
I know there is tricks because I used to go to an assly plants and i know they use windshield solvent as a good cleaner and they have products that are not on the market as they are very expensive..i even seen them use a cable lubricant..to pull the wires through the conduit they would put this stuff on the wires..but someone found out it worked on cars/truck and gave a wonderful shine but it was expensive..i forgot the name.???anyone know of this or any procucts..??thanks...
I know these waxes to be super easy to use, literally wipe on/wipe off:
-S100 carnauba: $15 at a Harley Davidson dealer, super on silver paint, more shiny than glowy
-Meguiar's NXT paste: very good overall, $15
-Eagle One Nanowax Spray: very good and fairly durable spray wax, has a warm carnauba look, about $5-6
-Duragloss Aquawax: like the Eagle One except even more durable, more shiny look, inexpensive yet approaches the performance of boutique waxes, in my opinion, the best in this list and only $7
