How many penicillin injections should a cat/kitten receive?
At .75 cc's for kittens 2lbs. and 1 cc for adult cat how often should the cat get a SQ injection of long lasting penicillin G for URI? When should improvement be noticed?
(Concerned about cats at the animal shelter)
Shelter medicine is not easy to manage, any advise from DVM would be appreciated.

a vet who is a friend of shelter worker "prescibed" the pen, I just found out and will follow up tomorrow but I will be approaching the shelter worker earlier than the vet gets in.
