What's with dangerous dog toys?
I've recently noticed that there are so many dangerous dog toys on the market, mainly because our 20lb foster care puppy is able to rip through them.
I've bought a few dog toys in the Christmas section that once slightly ripped- hard "edible" plastic comes out (I'm not talking about the squeaky plastic piece). These are not "toy" dog toys, they're toys made for bigger dogs. I'd like to be able to get cute plush toys because we have a toy dog as well. Any suggestions? These toys come apart right away and she isn't even a massive dog. Anything we can do about this? It's hazardous to any dog.
You know I've been having trouble with this too, but I'm not sure if mine is the toy or my dog. We have 2 dogs and they are both between 15-20 lbs, so they aren't big dogs, but my smallest youngest dog is always able to get the seam off those toys and take everything out of it. The bigger one never did it, so I'm starting to think it might be my crafty dog. But I would love to hope it isn't and I can find a good brand that he can play with. Hopefully this isn't the case for you too
