has anyone ever tried the multivet remote spray collar ?
I am considering trying this collar as I have read it is very effective in assisting with training - my dog also has a barking problem which is beggining to annoy the neighbours - I have tried the water squirter method but my dog just thinks its a game - so just wondered if anyone else had used this collar or has any other tips for easing barking.

I have not seen a multivet but would recommend an aboirestop. It works with citronella so has the added effect of making your dog smell good!
Seriously do not get the remote control collar as it only works by you pressing a button. The normal one is noise activated and will let a small jet of citronella shoot up under the dogs chin when it barks. It is not harmful and most dogs learn that by not barking it is not activated.
It is not designed to work by scaring the dog, only by confusing it, and I have been using these collars in dog training for twenty years, they have been placed on dogs of al sizes and ages without side effects.
