What age do you move from cot to first bed?
My daughter is 19mths and is currently in a cot in her own room. At what age should i consider changing her cot to a bed?

I moved my daughter out just before her second birthday- she was trying to climb out of her cot and it was becoming dangerous to leave her in it! She was in a cotbed so we just took the sides off, and she's 3 on Saturday and it's still doing the job. We have a bed guard up to stop her falling out at night, but she can climb in and out herself. As soon as you move your daughter to a bed, remember that a stairgate needs to be in place to prevent accients with stairs as she will be able to "escape" in the night!
