My dog is bleeding internally has anyone gone through this?
My dog is a female maltese six years old and is hemorrhaging internally. Running blood work but no answers yet. Has anyone gone through this? please help
I assume that if blood work is being run then she's at the vet, and you're at home worrying.
I can tell you that if the bloodwork doesn't give any answers, but looks like she's in trouble then the vets will go to surgery and try to find what is bleeding.
Sometimes internal haemorrhage, particularly in teh abdomen, doesn't need any more that fluid therapy if the blood loss is small, because the dog can reabsorb some of that blood.
The vets should keep you informed of anything that happens.
