fleece in a non c and c cage?
i am wondering if fleece is going to work as well in a pet store cage as it does in a c and c cage, i know obviously it wont by the same but i would like to hear some personal experiences. and i cant get a c and c cage because i have a outside cat that likes to bring us little rodent presents every now and then and i dont think having a open guinea pig would be very smart
Should be fine, but you'll have a hard time finding a solid-floor pet store cage that is large enough for a GP (30" by 36" minimum for one GP) . You also CAN put a top on a C & C cage very easily. Most are shown open-topped because GPs don't require the top and it's easier that way to clean, etc. But if you've got a cat in the home, it's very easy to add a top.
